The health and well-being of your dog—and all dogs in our care—are our top priorities. To ensure a stress-free and high-quality grooming experience, we require all pet owners to agree to the following conditions. By requesting a booking, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined below.
1.1 You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, skin issues, or behavioural concerns before the appointment.
1.2 Aggressive or overly anxious dogs may require special handling, and we reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming if the pet poses a risk to itself or other groomers.
1.3 If your pet has fleas or ticks, we may require flea treatment at an additional charge.
1.4 For the health of dogs in our care we advise that your dog has regular preventative flea treatment supplied by a vet or suitably qualified medical professional. We cannot be held responsible for the contraction of ectoparasites.
1.5 In the interests of the health of all dogs in our care, your dog must be vaccinated. We may ask you for written evidence that such vaccination is up to date.
1.6 We will consider accepting your dog for grooming, if they are sick or elderly, provided that you understand and agree that grooming will be carried out entirely at your risk.
2.1 Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
2.2 Arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, without contacting us, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and charge a cancellation fee.
2.3 At least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling is required. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee.
2.4 No-shows may be charged the full grooming fee.
3.1 We will always strive to groom your dog according to your request or any reference photos provided; however, we cannot guarantee an exact match due to differences in coat type, condition, and temperament.
3.2 In the event that a customer expresses dissatisfaction with our services, we commit to initiating contact within 48 hours to address their concerns and work towards a resolution
3. 3 If the dog’s coat is matted, additional fees may apply for de-matting services. If shaving is required, we will seek your consent before proceeding. In some cases, it may be necessary for you to bring your dog back at another time to complete the groom, so not to inconvenience other customers.
3.4 The well-being of your pet is our top priority, and we may adjust the grooming process if necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
3.5 For the health and safety of groomers, visitors, other dogs and your dog in our care is important to us, therefore, we reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog which is aggressive, disruptive or otherwise presents a risk of to our groomers, and other dogs in our care or itself.
4.1 We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or aggravation of existing health issues that may arise during or after grooming.
4.2 While every precaution to ensure the safety of your pet, you acknowledge that grooming involves the use of sharp tools and that minor injuries may occasionally occur.
4.3 In the rare case of an emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If necessary, we may seek veterinary care at your expense.
4.4 If we have tried unsuccessfully to contact you and we have become concerned that your dog has been abandoned, we will refer it to Birmingham’s Dog Wardens or other relevant authority.
5.1 We may take photos of your pet before and after grooming for promotional or record-keeping purposes. If you do not consent to this, please notify us in advance.
6.1 Prices vary depending on breed, coat condition, and temperament. Any additional charges (e.g. de-matting) will be discussed before carrying out he service.
6.2 If grooming services are terminated due to a dog's temperament, the full grooming fee will still apply, regardless of how much grooming has been completed.
